George P. Johnson - Chrysler Display Cases

Part of the reason why my blog posts have been so delayed is due to the fact I've been traveling A LOT. Last November I was hired by the George P. Johnson company to merchandise display cases of Chrysler, Dodge, RAM and Jeep at the Los Angeles International Car Show. GPJ constructs and designs the trade show area for Chrysler and needed a merchandiser to display products of the different Chrysler brands in the display cases they built. I was happy they found K8 Vision! After Los Angeles I traveled to Detroit, Washington DC and then Chicago to work at those shows. I'll be in New York at the end of March for the show at the Jacob Javitt Center. I get to be there before each car show opens and watch the process of these MASSIVE structures being built to display all of the different car manufactures. It's been FUN! I look forward to working with them soon!

Giannetti Home - Holiday 09'

Through my relationship with Annette Tatum I was introduced to Brooke Giannetti. Brooke, a very talented interior designer and her husband Steve Giannetti, Architect, have a wonderful shop and office space on San Vicente blvd in Brentwood, CA . It all started one afternoon while I was working with Annette, she called Brooke to put her on the phone with me, after a quick hello Brooke's next phrase to me was "I need you!" The next day I was at her space discussing merchandising and displays with her. Giannetti home sells an eclectic array of English, French, Spanish and Swedish antiques along with their own line of upholstery products. Between the soft, feminine style of Brooke and the industrial style of Steve, Giannetti Home is filled with a delightful range of goods to interest anyone. Brooke Giannetti has continually used my services since November. You must become a fan of Brooke's blog Velvet and Linen where you can also view some of the work I've done for her. Please visit the showroom at 11980 San Vicente Los Angeles 90049, 310.820.1329, it's a treat. Brooke you are an absolute gem to work with, thanks!

Styling for Annette Tatum's Catalog

Along with the release of "The Well Dressed Home," I also had the pleasure in working with Annette Tatum http://www.annettetatum.com/ on the catalog for her adult, children and baby bedding line. I was her stylist for the photos taken in the catalog for these three categories. You can view the catalog at http://annettetatum.com/catalog.html
Visit her shop at 1607 Montana Avenue - Santa Monica - CA 90403 - Phone (310) 451-1321. If you or someone is in the market for bedding I highly recommend Annette's line, go check out her stuff and tell them that Kate sent you :-)

it has been too long since my last blog

There is so much to share since my last blog; new clients, new projects. I need to go back to November. All of these projects have taken me away from blogging, as we can all see my last blog was in October :-(. But I am here to today to fix that! I plan on getting you all up to speed on all the wonderful jobs and clients I've been working with since then. enjoy!

Annette Tatum, keeping me BUSY!!
